Class Definitions

BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell workout for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns calories, strengthens and tones.

BODYPUMP™ Xpress is the 45 minute version of the original barbell workout for absolutely everyone. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition (reps), BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout that burns calories, strengthens and tones.

Faculty/ Staff Yoga– This class is designated for faculty and staff members only. Each offering varies from gentle, restorative to flowing vinyasa.

Gentle Yoga– Balancing ease and strength while incorporating Vinyasa yoga moves at a slower, more fluid pace. This gentle approach provides space to discover opportunities and challenges in transitions that are often rushed through. Leave feeling centered and refreshed by ending class with restorative poses.

Meditation– Learn to achieve a state of deep inner stillness, so that your mind can be cleared of clutter and unwanted thoughts. Discover how to strengthen the body to aid a sitting meditation practice and ways the breath can be used to calm the mind.

Pilates– Lengthen the body all while you build flexibility, strength, improve posture, restore balance and overall muscle tone for the total body.

Pilates Zen– Learn how to incorporate breathing, stretching and muscle contraction techniques through this light intensity class that encourages safe and effective stretching while lengthening the entire body.

Restorative Yoga uses a series of easy, supported poses held for a long time under the right conditions (including the use of props) to tip the balance from “fight or flight” mode into maximal relaxation. Learn how to achieve a state of deep inner stillness, muscular relaxation and comfort to remove unwanted thoughts and achieve a quiet state of mind.

RPM™ is an indoor cycling class, set to the rhythm of motivating music. It blasts calories and builds aerobic fitness fast.

Vinyasa– “to arrange in a special way”. Participants will move through flowing yoga postures coordinated with breath.

Zumba®– One hours of high-energy Latin infused and inspired dance desinged to make you sweat!

Zumba® Xpress– A fusion of Latin inspired choreography and international beats for a great 45 minute interval workout.
