The Upper 8 Tennis Courts provide a newly refurbished court surface and lights. In addition to the eight tennis courts, there are two pickle ball courts lined within two tennis courts. The courts are open for the entire Wake Forest community. The tennis court lights can be utilized from 5pm-11pm.
There are three sand volleyball courts on campus: Palmer/Piccolo, Johnson & Polo. All courts are available for open play throughout the day for the entire Wake Forest community. Palmer/Piccolo is also utilized for Intramural Sports sand volleyball matches.
There are three main recreational fields within Campus Recreation: Poteat, Waterfall & Water Tower fields.
Poteat and Waterfall Fields are multi-acre grass fields that serve as the main practice and game fields for Club Sports. Poteat Field has two softball backstops and four mobile soccer goals. Overlooking Reynolda Village, Waterfall field serves as the ideal location for Club Sports practices and competitions, summer camps, student organizations and university department events.
Water Tower Field is a lighted, 3 acre synthetic turf field that serves as the outdoor fields for Intramural Sports competition. The field features permanent lines for three flag football, three soccer and two softball fields. Sport Clubs also utilize Water Tower Field for practice and game matches, such as rugby, club soccer, club lacrosse, fast pitch softball and baseball.
“The Cage” features one full or two cross-court basketball courts. The courts are lighted and they can be utilized between the hours of 5pm-11pm. The courts are open for the entire Wake Forest community.
