Jeff Schmoll – Graduate Assistant Aquatics, Fitness and Outdoor Pursuits

Jeff joined the Campus Recreation team in September 2020 as Fitness Attendant and was hired on as Building Manager and Lifeguard in December 2020. As of August 2021, he became the Graduate Assistant for Fitness, Aquatics, and Outdoor Pursuits. For Fitness, he oversees the Fitness Attendants, helps with Virtual Proctoring, and handles day-to-day tasks in the building. For Aquatics, he serves as Eric’s right-hand man helping with scheduling, in-service, and other weekly tasks. For Outdoor Pursuits, he helps Peter run challenge course programming out at Triad Park.

Originally from Cocoa Beach, Florida, Jeff earned his undergraduate degree in Religious Studies at Florida State University, with a minor in English Literature. He is currently working on his master’s degree in Religious Studies at Wake Forest University and plans to pursue a master’s in Management at the same institution. While at Florida State, Jeff served as a Challenge Course and Rock Wall Facilitator for three years.
