Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Sikirat Kazeem received her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Exercise Science from Wake Forest University (’98) and Master’s degree in Sport Management from The Ohio State University (’01). She has 20 years of experience working in higher education as a student affairs professional and university administrator. Prior to joining Wake Forest University in July 2014, she worked at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas overseeing several functional areas: intramurals & sport clubs, facility operations, and the student medic program. As Associate Director of Facilities & Operations for Campus Recreation, Sikirat has been committed to making the Wake Forest Wellbeing Center a space for movement, collaboration, and engagement. While adept at the everyday challenges of managing the facility, she also excels in strategic planning and interdepartmental partnerships across the university.
