Group Fitness Workshops

We invite you to explore a variety of workshops presented by our highly trained and talented mind body staff this fall.  Whether you are interested in beginning activity, seek knowledge and introspect, or just eager to expand your physical practice of various mind body disciplines the workshops listed below will provide an intentional setting with direct assistance.

YOGA JOURNALING

Intentional beginnings start here…Welcome the New Year with self-discovery of YOU in this 3 part yoga and journaling series.  Create the framework to take your yoga practice and journal home with easy-to-keep, consistent strategies for continuing and advancing your practice. Walk away with new goals, new intentions and a new practice for the new year!

What:  3 week session meeting 1x per week; 1.5hr ea
When: (2) sessions to select from:
  • Session I: Begins Wednesday  January 23, (continuing for 2 additional weeks 1/30,  2/6)
  • Session II: Begins Sunday January 27, (continuing for 2 additional weeks 2/3, 2/10)
Time:  Wednesday’s 5:30 – 7:00pm
             Sunday’s 4:00 – 5:30pm

EXPLORING YOGA FOR CONFIDENCE

In this two hour workshop, we will delve into certain yoga poses and postures that build physical strength as well as offer confidence increasing a feeling of success for those times when you need it most! All levels are welcome

YOGA FOR HEALTHY LIVING

Mind. Body. Spirit. This three part series unveils the practice of yoga to enhance your physical, mental and emotional health.  By bringing self-awareness to how you feel on your mat as well as ‘off your mat’, you will be well on your way to a new found sense of calm and peace in your daily living.

What:  3 week session meeting 1x per week; 1.5 hr ea

PRACTICING 8 LIMBS OF YOGA

Want to lead a more meaningful and purposeful life? Discover eight steps that provide guidelines that delve into a personal prescription. This workshop series explains that all limbs are equal…  you can’t have one without the other. Come explore!
