Our Massage Therapy
Our Massage Therapy Program at the Wake Forest University Wellbeing Center is currently paused. Please check back later for more information.
Massage therapy is designed to enhance wellbeing through physical and mental relaxation and pain relief, which improves quality of life.
Services are provided by a licensed massage therapist. Sessions last 1 hour.
- Swedish Massage: manipulation, stroking
- Therapeutic Massage: deep tissue, trigger point
- Chair Massage Events: onsite chair massages for teams, clubs, offices, and departments. For more information, please contact Karen Horton.

Massage Therapy Availability
Any currently enrolled Wake Forest University student, faculty, staff member, or retiree can receive services through the Office of Wellbeing.
The charge for a 1 hour massage is $55. Payment must be made at the time that the appointment is scheduled.
Benefits of Massage Therapy
There are many benefits of massage such as stress and anxiety relief, help with chronic or postoperative pain, improved quality of sleep, increased range of motion, reduced muscle tension, lowered blood pressure, decreased migraine frequency, and improved cardiovascular health.
