Happy fall semester, everyone! I’m Bailey Larmore, the new Blog Writer for the Wellbeing Center. I’ll be bringing you blog posts every Thursday that you can find here, on the Campus Rec website. I’m looking forward to creating fun blogs for you all as we start a new school year!

I’m from Wilmington, Delaware and a sophomore at Wake Forest. I’m pursuing a major in Communication and a minor in Spanish. I enjoy comedy movies, community service, and tap dancing. Additionally, I’m an intern at Rendever, a start-up company that delivers VR-based experiences to senior care communities in order to fight social isolation. This summer, I enjoyed relaxing and spending time at the beach in Lewes, Delaware. Bringing my family’s energetic chocolate lab to the beach was my favorite because she loves swimming in the water. I hope you all enjoyed this summer as well!

I’m excited to join the Wellbeing Center’s Student Marketing Team, and I’m glad to be back in Winston-Salem! Personally, my favorite way to get involved with Campus Rec has been through the group fitness classes, like BodyPump and Cardio Dance. As a blog writer, I’m looking forward to highlighting food options and fitness activities near Wake’s campus, in Winston-Salem. Each week, we can continue to get to know each other and discover more about our wellbeing. As we get back into the rhythm of going to classes, I hope you’ll check back here for more blog posts. Have a great rest of your week!
