  • Coordinator, Aquatics

    The coordinator is responsible for all aspects of Wake Forest’s aquatics facilities and programs including: staff recruitment, hiring, training, and oversight; management of pool and support areas; and revenue generation through master’s swim program, swim lessons, summer camps, and rentals. Responsible for establishing and achieving area and employee goals, assessing performance, providing feedback and making data driven decisions. The coordinator increases participation and diversification of aquatic programs and participants. The coordinator will collaborate with Campus Life partners to promote student engagement and foster physical wellbeing by all members of the campus community. Additionally, the coordinator assists the department’s First Aid/CPR/AED training program.

  • Coordinator, Fitness

    The Fitness Coordinator, under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Campus Fitness, is responsible for daily management of a comprehensive fitness department that includes Personal Training, Small Group Training, Instructional Programs and day-to-day operations of fitness related areas. The Coordinator will act as direct lead overseeing and managing daily operations of designated fitness spaces which includes program development, fiscal management, and supervision of student and non-student staff. This position will collaborate with Campus Life partners to promote student engagement, lead initiatives with fitness programming and operations, fitness events, instructional programs and foster wellbeing to all members of the campus community. The Coordinator of Fitness will lead the charge for creating robust offerings that will increase participation and diversification of fitness programs and participants.

  • Coordinator, Outdoor Pursuits

    The Coordinator of Outdoor Pursuits (OP), under the direction of the Assistant Director of OP, will aid in the delivery of adventure-based programs and services to the Wake Forest University community; assist in managing areas of the OP program to include: OP Base Camp rental and resource center, wilderness trips program, the Wilderness to Wake pre-orientation program, “ReCycle” campus bike share program, and the OP community events program.  The Coordinator will provide direct supervision, training, and evaluation for staffing related to the stated program areas and form strategies to aid in the personal and professional development of student and non-student personnel. Lastly, this position will strive to foster an inclusive environment that seeks to serve a diverse campus community through actively developing and implementing strategies and programs to engage underrepresented populations in OP programs.
