Ben Wishon - Coordinator, Aquatics

Ben is from Cary, NC and joined the Campus Recreation staff in September 2025. Ben oversees the pool and spa within the Wellbeing Center, as well as training, managing, and supporting the aquatics staff. He graduated from UNC Charlotte with a Bachelors in Computer Science and Data Science in the spring 2025, and as a student worked for the Aquatics department as a Head Guard and Lifeguard Instructor. Outside of Wake, Ben loves playing softball, swimming, and watching his favorite sports teams.
