ABOUT US

Bowman joined the Wake Forest Campus Recreation team in 2024 following his role as a Fitness Graduate Assistant and the completion of his Master’s degree. A Winston-Salem native, Bowman brings over seven years of experience teaching a variety of group fitness formats—Bodypump being one of his personal favorites.

In his classes, Bowman strives to create a connected and motivated environment by offering modifications and encouraging participants of all levels. He believes that true wellbeing extends beyond physical health and he intentionally incorporates mental and spiritual elements into his approach both in and outside the classroom. Bowman also embraces the philosophy that movement is medicine, recognizing the healing power of exercise in all its forms.

As a member of the Campus Recreation team, he aims to be a welcoming and approachable leader who champions all dimensions of health and wellbeing. Outside of work, you can find Bowman enjoying the outdoors, staying active, spending time with friends and family or serving at his local church.
