Bowman Letourneau is from Winston Salem, NC. He received his Bachelors in Kinesiology (exercise science) from the  University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). While a student at UNCG, Bowman worked at the University’s Recreation and Wellness center in the fitness department as a Fitness Supervisor, Group Exercise Instructor, and Program Assistant for Fitness. All experiences increased his passion for health and wellness. Though he has a variety of experience working in fitness as an Assistant General Manager of Stretch Zone and Advanced Personal Trainer, his interest lies in group exercise and rehabilitation. Bowman has been teaching group fitness for 5+ years and is certified in Silver Sneakers Classic, and Les Mills Bodypump, Core, and Bodybalance. When teaching these classes, his goal is to educate, motivate, and connect with all, ensuring his teammates are feeling successful! As someone who has suffered from injuries, Bowman has learned, for himself, the best medicine seems to be exercise and movement. Similar to teaching group exercise, his goal for working at Wake Forest’s Campus Recreation is to educate, motivate, connect, and learn from the student body and staff, all while creating community through fellowship, fitness, and fun! 🙂

*When Bowman is not a student or working, you can expect him to be walking, hiking, stretching, reading, cooking, eating, and/or going to church with friends and family.
