ABOUT US

Jamie’s love for sports began at just 18 months old through gymnastics, which inspired her to pursue a career in athletic training. She has 5 years of experience as a Certified Athletic Trainer, earning her undergraduate degree from the University of Vermont and her graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Jamie began her career as a Graduate Assistant at Pitt working with Club Sports, primarily focusing on high-contact sports like football, rugby, lacrosse, soccer and ice hockey. She then worked with the Pitt Men’s Soccer Varsity team, followed by Pitt Cheer and Dance, and later with Georgia Tech’s Cheer and Dance Team.

Throughout her career, Jamie has prioritized sport-specific, individualized care with a strong emphasis on injury prevention, recovery and performance optimization. In every program she’s been a part of, she has focused on building trust with athletes and empowering them to recognize that they are more than the sports they play—encouraging them to take an active role in their health and promoting long-term success both physically and mentally.

Her focus is on injury prevention through movement as medicine, while emphasizing the mind-body connection and individualized care. She values a holistic approach, integrating practices like yoga, meditation and other wellness activities into her daily routine. Jamie’s long-term goal is to be part of the U.S. Sports Medicine team at the Olympics, and she is dedicated to inspiring athletes to maximize their well-being while continuing to challenge herself and make a meaningful impact in sports medicine.
