Aquatics Programs
The Jurgens-Dupree Aquatics facility boasts an eight lane lap pool and 14 person vortex, and we’d love to invite you into the programs that make it a special part of the Wellbeing Center.
Masters Swim is an inclusive program for swimmers of all levels. Popular with our faculty & staff, swimmers are provided with structured coaching and workouts! Most importantly, it’s a great source of camaraderie and community for folks looking to stay connected (or get into) swimming.

We’d love to have you join us, and you can try it out before committing. Here’s information about Masters Swim practice times, fees, and more!
It’s never too late to learn (or perfect) your swimming technique! We offer private and semi-private swim lessons for employees, their families and community members! These are open to children and adults.
We love our lifeguards, and we know our swimmers do too!
We offer certification classes for new lifeguards aged 15+, culminating in an American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification valid for 2 years. This class also includes First Aid/CPR/AED certification!

Calling all hoopers, new and old! If you’re looking for a little more organized activity, we have a dedicated group of noontime hoopers that welcome newcomers of all skill levels. Reach out to us at campusrec@wfu.edu for more information!
Yes, the pickleball craze has hit us, too! We offer informal pickleball opportunities for faculty & staff on Fridays at noon in Reynolds Gym 405. We’ll set up the nets, and can also get you equipped with paddles and balls!

Employment
We’re more than just a building—we’re a team. Know someone who may want to join us?
Is your 18 years and older child looking for employment over a school break? Campus Recreation has a particular need for employees when school is not in session (winter and summer breaks).
We also hire lifeguards starting at 16 years old (and we handle certifications, too). Reach out to us at campusrec@wfu.edu for more information.
We have a number of incredible Wake Forest Retirees that work part-time, making the Wellbeing Center a better place. If you’re interested in joining them, we’d love to chat.
