Jumpstart your new year during Employee Wellbeing Week! This week is dedicated to supporting your physical, mental, and emotional health with a variety of activities and programs.
Join us for fitness classes, mindfulness sessions, healthy eating tips, spiritual wellness opportunities, and more—co-sponsored by Campus Recreation, SAC, Human Resources, the Office of Wellbeing, and Harvest Table. Whether you’re looking to reduce stress, get moving, nourish your body, or connect spiritually, there will be something for everyone.

The Wellbeing Center invites all Reynolda Campus employees, business affiliate partners, retirees, and their partners/spouses to join us for Employee Wellbeing Week! This completely free event runs from January 5th-January 9th.

5:45a-7:00a: Masters Swim, Pool
Interested in participating in Masters Swim? Try it for free from Jan 5-9. Masters Swim is an inclusive environment for swimmers of all levels and backgrounds. The program provides structured coaching for those looking for swimming as a means of training, fitness, and camaraderie. Participants complete daily written swim workouts and are under direct supervision of a swim coach.
11:30a-1:30p: Beginner Pickleball, Sutton 204
Drop in for some faculty/staff pickleball! All experience levels welcome. Athletic attire recommended as well as non-marking shoes. Equipment will be provided!
12:00p-12:30p: Drop-In Meditation, Zoom
No prior meditation experience is needed and all are welcome. We will begin the session with a short introduction provided by the leader and then give participants time and space to practice on their own while in community. Each session will wrap up by 12:30pm. 12:00p-1:00p: Equipment Education, Wellbeing Center

Led by one of our fitness staff members, learn how to safely and effectively operate and load cardio and strength training equipment. We will also share other applicable information to optimize success and time spent in and out of the gym. A light snack will be available for attendees.
5:00p-5:45p: Cardio Dance, Wellbeing Center, Group Fitnes B201
Move and groove to the beats! Our experienced cardio dance instructor will motivate you to dance your heart out and keep coming back!
All Group Fitness classes are drop-in.
5:45a-7a: Masters Swim

12:00p-12:30p: Introduction to Pilates, Wellbeing Center, Mind/Body Studio B203
This pilates class is designed to help you learn how to engage your powerhouse (abs, lower back, hips, and pelvic floor) to guide you through lengthening and strengthen low-impact exercises that are commonly used in pilates classes.
12:00p-1:00p: Noontime Hoops, Reynolds 405
Join a dedicated group of noontime hoopers for pickup basketball. Please contact Sean Brittain (brittasg@wfu.edu) or Scott Claybrook (claybrsd@wfu.edu) to indicate intention to play.

Office of Wellbeing – Make your own shea butter, sleep kit, and explore resources for wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling
12:00p-12:45p: Pilates and Props, Wellbeing Center, Specialty Studio
Join our fitness instructor for a pilates class that is designed to support you through poses through the use of the ball, ring, bars, and straps. This class is intended to explore the use of props, build confidence with poses, and increase flexibility.
Space is limited for this small group training class. Registration required.
5:00p-5:45p: Les Mills Bodypump HEAVY, Wellbeing Center, B201
This energetic group exercise class combines fun music and weightlifting for a great science-backed movement workout.
