
ABOUT US
Greg joined the Campus Recreation team in 2019 as the Coordinator of Intramural Sports. In 2024, Greg began working as the Assistant Director of Sport Programs. In his role, he oversees the Campus Recreation Sport Program, which includes serving as the space manager for our Intramural and Club Sports ensuring they have space in our indoor and outdoor facilities. These programs engage Wake students in fun and competitive activities against their peers. Specifically, organizing and scheduling over 30 leagues and events throughout the school year, featuring sports such as basketball, football, soccer, and more. Greg is also responsible for hiring, training, and recruiting over 100 student employees to run the various sports organized each year. With the Club Sports programs, he ensures that students adhere to university policies regarding practice times, travel and competition schedules, and budget requests.
Additionally, Greg manages our REC Pre-Orientation program, which welcomes 80 incoming first-year students to campus. This program focuses on Recreation, Engagement, and Community, helping new students integrate into campus life by participating in the various areas the Campus Recreation hosts.
Originally from Miami, FL, Greg completed his undergraduate studies in Finance from the University of Florida. He then furthered his education at the University of Tennessee where he graduated with a Master’s in Sports Management while serving as an intramural sports graduate assistant. Outside of the rec, Greg is an NCAA men’s basketball official.
