Swim Lessons
Private swim lessons are for those looking for one-on-one swim instruction taught by a certified lifeguard and/or water safety instructor. Semi-private lessons are for those with siblings or friends with similar swim experience to be paired two-to-one with an instructor. After being set-up with an instructor, participants can set personal goals, working towards them during 30 minute sessions.
If you are interested in private swim lessons, complete the Google Form found HERE. You will be contacted and given a time slot for a 6 week block.
Spring Session 1 is open for registrations. Spring Session 2 registration will open on February 3rd.
Following securing a time slot, you can make the fee payment at the Welcome Desk or at deaconrec.wfu.edu if you are a Wake Forest Student. If you are a community member, contact Maddy Peek, peekm@wfu.edu.

- If for any reason you must cancel/reschedule your lessons due to illness or a scheduling conflict after you have confirmed your lessons, you will be allowed one reschedule per set of lessons; however, the Aquatics team must be notified in writing no less than 2 hours prior to the lesson start. After this, any remaining lessons that need to be rescheduled will be forfeited unless it is a medical or family emergency that will be at the discretion of the Aquatics team.
- If for any reason you do not show up to your lesson without notice, you will have to forfeit that lesson and will be unable to reschedule. If you are late for your lesson, you will not be able to extend your lesson end time.
- In case of an emergency, immediately contact aquatics@wfu.edu. The decision on whether the lesson will result in rescheduling or forfeiting will be at the discretion of the Aquatics team.
