There are 8 tennis courts which have a newly refurbished surface and lights. In addition to the 8 tennis courts, there are 8 pickleball courts lined within 4 of the tennis courts. The courts are open for use, outside programmed hours, by Wake Forest students, faculty, and staff. The court lights can be utilized from 5pm-11pm.
There are two sand volleyball courts on campus: Johnson & Polo. Both courts are available for open play throughout the day for the entire Wake Forest community.
There are three main recreational fields within Campus Recreation: Poteat, Waterfall & Water Tower fields.
Poteat and Waterfall Fields are multi-acre grass fields that serve as the main practice and game fields for Club Sports. Poteat Field has two softball backstops and four mobile soccer goals. Overlooking Reynolda Village, Waterfall field serves as the ideal location for Club Sports practices and competitions, summer camps, student organizations and university department events.
Water Tower Field is a lighted, 3 acre synthetic turf field that serves as the outdoor fields for Intramural Sports competition. The field features permanent lines for three flag football, three soccer and two softball fields. Sport Clubs also utilize Water Tower Field for practice and game matches, such as rugby, club soccer, club lacrosse, fast pitch softball and baseball.
There are 2 sets of outdoor basketball courts on campus. One is adjacent to the Reynolda Tennis Courts and features one full or two cross-court basketball courts. A second court is located on south campus behind Collins Residence HallThe courts are open for use, outside programmed hours, by Wake Forest students, faculty, and staff. The court lights can be utilized from 5pm-11pm.
