Small Group Training is the newest fitness offering from Campus Recreation. This type of class provides a unique experience by utilizing state of the art equipment only available to its participants. Keeping class capacity to between eight and twelve participants ensures not to only enhance a workout experience, but engages participants with a stronger sense of camaraderie while providing measurable results as well as immediate feedback from a certified instructor. Classes run for six weeks and are held twice per week. Register in advance, as space is limited!

Classes offerings are exclusive to it’s registered participants for that time slot and may not be interchanged with other offerings at different times.

Customized classes can start at anytime throughout the semester and will run for 4 weeks being held twice per week. We will offer it exclusively for your group only! Born in the Navy SEALs, Suspension Training body weight exercise develops strength, balance, flexibility and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a highly portable performance training tool that leverages gravity and the user’s body weight to complete hundreds of exercises. In this class, participants will experience moderate to high intensity exercises incorporating the TRX with dynamic warm-up and a yoga based cool down. This class is best suited for all fitness levels with modifications being offered. Class size is limited to 8 participants.

This Campus Recreation collaboration between Fitness’s Training Programs and Outdoors Pursuits climbing team will take your rock climbing specific strength to the next level. Our AMGA Climbing instructor will introduce a strength and conditioning routine that will surely allow you to climb harder and longer. Utilizing state of the art functional equipment, no session will ever be the same. Having core tension, full body compound exercises and climbing specific exercises as the root of this class, participants will see immediate results both on and off the wall. Previous climbing experience not necessary. Class size is limited to 8 participants.
This high energy class offers a forever changing variety of high intensity, functional movements using our new selection of performance equipment that will increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance. Cross-Train is perfect for all fitness levels and is guaranteed to provide a welcome change to your usual exercise routine. Class size is limited to 10 participants.
This FULL BODY, High Intensity Interval Training, kickboxing-based class will be sure to push you to your limits both physically and mentally. Those who take this class can expect to strengthen, tone and improve flexibility in every muscle in the body while releasing built up stress and frustration that can accompany everyday life. Each workout will change to keep your body guessing and to challenge you like never before! Be prepared to sweat and to leave feeling empowered after each class! All exercise levels welcome! Class is limited to 9 participants.
This bootcamp will be sure to challenge any participant to rethink the way they exercise. Utilizing plyometric exercises, functional strength exercises and yoga-inspired stretching this class will bring out the inner-athlete in anyone willing to step through the door. See measurable results, feel leaner and more fit while having fun at the same time! Class size is limited to 10 participants.
H.I.I.T & Flow was designed for those who want increased endurance, muscle tone, balance and flexibility. This High Intensity Interval Training routine is perfectly complimented by brief segments of yoga-based, active recovery poses. The unique characteristics of this class makes it a one of a kind offering with one of a kind results! All exercise levels welcome. Class is limited to 8 participants.
Plyo Burn is based on the foundation of plyometric training. Explosive and powerful athletic movements will ignite fast-twitch muscle fibers bringing out anyone’s inner athlete. This circuit-based class will take you to the edge by pushing every muscle to the point of exhaustion. By incorporating circuits of functional movements in this fashion, participants will see increased strength and endurance, not to mention a lean and toned physique. All fitness levels welcome! This class is limited to 8 participants.
