Campus Recreation sends a monthly email newsletter to all seasoned professionals and retirees looking to stay involved with the Wellbeing Center and Campus Recreation. Highlighting upcoming events and happenings around campus, this is a great way to stay connected.
Monthly Gatherings
Campus Recreation hosts a monthly gathering for retirees in the Wellbeing Center Living room on the second Tuesday of the month from 10am to 11:30am. These events are at no cost to participants and offer coffee and tea. Join us for featured guest speakers each month to learn about retiree benefits, campus updates and more!

Memberships
Wake Forest employees who were benefits-eligible at the time of their retirement are eligible for a complimentary Wellbeing Center membership. Retirees who were not eligible for benefits at retirement may purchase a membership. Additionally, all WFU retirees may purchase a membership for their spouse or partner. Pickleball League
Interested in playing pickleball? Join other WFU retirees on Tuesdays from 12-2p in Sutton 204. No experience or equipment is necessary! To register, please visit www.imleagues.com/wakeforest and select “Get Involved”. From there, select “Doubles Pickleball League”, followed by “Retired Faculty/Staff”. You will use your name as the team name.
Deacon Family Hours
Deacon Family Hours occur on Saturdays from 9am-1pm in the Wellbeing Center. During these hours, we invite individuals holding a membership to bring their family members, including grandchildren, to use the facility. For more information, please visit the Deacon Family Hours page.
Cardio & Weight Equipment Orientation
Have questions about how to use the fitness equipment or new to the building?Join us for a drop-in, meet & greet opportunity to learn how to use the fitness equipment in the Wellbeing Center. Staff will be available to do demos, answer questions, and more!
